ABOUT ME
Writer of Humorous Fiction and Toilet Brochures
Born in Texas during the dawn of the 1970’s, I came of age during a time when it was still socially acceptable for children to smoke candy cigarettes and drink soda out of a highball glass. I am unpublished and seeking representation from an agent who feels lucky about taking a chance on a writer one more monthly expense away from wearing Ziploc underwear.
My creative writing career began in first grade. Realizing I would fail a spelling test, I wrote the name of a girl I didn't like on my paper and penned an explanation on the back.
I grew up an only child in Fort Worth, TX surrounded by sisters and brothers of my choosing. After changing my major three times, I graduated with a degree in Advertising from the University of North Texas.
I've spent my entire professional life writing. From press releases to yes - brochures about toilets.
I married David "Chuck" before the turn of the century and have two human children, a canine child and two feline children. I reside in Dallas, TX but don't own a pair of boots, listen to country music or decorate my home in roosters.
My life has been and continues to be filled with book worthy material.
